How to Wear This Autumn’s Latest Fashion Trend – Sequins

Sequins are going to be a big fashion trend this Autumn, but there are many ways that you can wear them dependent on how brave or outgoing you are. During the catwalk shows models flowed down the catwalk with short dresses, power shoulders and sequins everywhere. But it’s not just dresses that will be adorned with sequins – tops will feature heavily, but expect to see sequins on hats (particularly berets), jackets, shoes and handbags. Lingerie doesn’t escape the trend either, with bras and knickers for those special nights out covered in sequins to add a touch of glamour.

But how do you wear them? Well, it depends how brave you are. Outgoing, confident women will be going all out with fully covered short dresses in metallic colours. Choose plain black opaque tights to save you from the cold.

If you do choose sequinned bras, wear a sheer top over to go clubbing. Or how about one of the latest jackets, decorated in sequins to your own desired level. Most shops will give you a choice of jackets festooned or some with perhaps a lapel or side detail. If you are really brave then a pair of glitzy silver leggings will certainly get you noticed.

Those not so confident will be happy with small smatterings of sequins outlining key details. If this is you, think a nice sequinned top and skinny jeans, and for a night out you can add sequinned shoes and/or a sequinned clutch bag. Tops can be found all covered in sequins, or if you’d rather be more subtle then just a simple design on the shoulder will still catch the eye.

No matter what you choose, or however brave you feel, pick up at least one or two items with sequins, enjoy yourself and let some sparkle back into your life.

Latest Fashion Frends – 5 Ways to Jazz Up Classic Clothes for Instant Chic

Are you getting bored with your classic clothes? We need simple, classic clothes as a backbone to our wardrobes, but sometimes it gets a bit boring to wear the same styles and colors.

That’s when you need to jazz up your wardrobe. Here are 5 ways to make a plain outfit chic in an instant.

1. Choose one spot to focus on, and add an embellishment, such as a jeweled pin or a chain-linked watch. But don’t go overboard. Add one new and interesting piece at a time, so it becomes the focal point of your outfit.

2. Scale the embellishment to your body type. If you are petite, keep your jewelry on the small, delicate side. A large, chunky belt, necklace or bracelet will look overwhelming on a small frame. On the other hand, if you are large boned, add something bold and memorable, such as an unusual necklace in wood or stone. A woman with a larger frame can carry it off. Anything too small and delicate will be lost to the eye.

3. Keep your colors simple. If you begin with bright colors, and add jewels or sequins, you’ll confuse the eye. Start with a simple background, and add something sensational, like a gorgeous and unusual necklace. People’s eyes will be drawn to the necklace and to your face, which is a good thing!

4. Use jewelry and accessories to draw the eye to your best features. For example, if you have a slim waist, a bold belt will show it off to advantage. But if your waist isn’t your best feature, draw the eyes upwards with a unique pin or necklace. Or add some sparkling earrings – but keep the rest of your jewelry simple. You can also showcase your beautiful hands with a bold or delicate ring in a gemstone or pearl.

5. Use accessories such as an oversized handbag, or shoes in the latest style or color, add pizzazz to your outfit. Shoes or handbags with hardware such as buckles are also fashionable, and you can change them with the seasons.

Choose one or two unique items that you love to show off your personal style and jazz up your classic outfits. You’ll look special, without spending a fortune!

Fall Fashion Trends for Women – Look Stylish When You Wear The Latest Fashion Trends

Fall fashion trends always run towards stylish sweaters and scarves. This year we’re seeing tunics and leggings. We’ll pile the layers on our necks and arms, cocooning at home or in the office in style.

So what’s new for fall, and how do we look stylish yet business-like when needed? The good news is the racks are piled high and there’s plenty to make you look great. Here’s the rundown:

Latest fall fashion trends:

o Grey – the ultimate comfort color takes front and center. But wait, the next strong color is cobalt blue – a color that looks great on almost everyone. And it’s a great color for the workplace as well. You can pair grey with cobalt, and other colors such as purple, yellow or green, and even black. It’s lovely to create a POP of color in accessories, such as a handbag, shoes or gloves.

o Cozy textures: The fall runways feature chunky and loopy knits and mohair. Look for anything soft, from cashmere to sensual knits. It’s all about softness and cocooning.

o The V shape is big this fall. It can be either straight up or inverted. You can wear a loose, drapey top with billowing sleeves, paired with skinny pants or leggings. Or, try wide-legged trousers with a tight, cropped top. A new, modern touch is the cape shape. Look for organic shapes, with a rounded bubble hem – anything that suggests a cocoon.

Fall fashion key pieces

o Cardigan coat: A grey cashmere coat is a perfect topper for your tunic. Smart looking, it’s the season’s hot look.

o Tunics: Paired with leggings or lean jeans, tunics are smart looking, and take you from the office to weekend casual. Tunics that hit mid-thigh to above the knee do double-duty as dresses. Words of advice: Don’t pair tunics with high-waisted, wide-leg pants. You’ll have too much volume.

o High-waisted, wide leg pants. Hurray, for women tired of muffin-top pants, we have another option. High-waisted pants with a cropped jacket or knit bolero are big this season, offering a smart alternate for work or casual wear.

o Sweaters: Soft, drapey and feminine, semi-fitted twinsets of v-necks are perfect for the office, paired with tweed trousers or a pencil skirt.

I’d like to invite you to use these tips and ideas to help you create your look this season with the latest fall fashion trends.
